Dave Mustaine on Duck Dodgers....

My 4 yr old was watching Duck Dodgers (it's a cartoon with Daffy Duck as Duck Dodgers it's a future type show)
anyhoo, Marvin the Martian is going to invade Earth or whatever and to combat him they thaw out Mustaine from the R&R hall of something or other it was something to do with him being so loud he could stop them (I was half paying attention). It was Dave Mustaine playing himself, I found it kinda wierd and cool at the same time, I always thought he was some serious metal badbutt, I think it's cool he can kinda have fun at his own expense ...

Any publicity is good publicity. "Hey, anyone remember me? The other guitar player from Metallica? 'Peace sells' and all that? Anyone?"

I saw Steven Tyler playing a department store Santa Claus on Hillary Duff's show "Lizzy Maguire" the other day. I'm still recovering.

Wow that's incredible. I remember when I first got into Metallica back in 1985 I read an interview with James Hetfield about Dave Mustane. Until that point I thought Kirk Hammet was the original guitarist. I remember Hetfield said something like, "We had to throw Dave out of the band. He was too out of control for us."

From that point on I thought Dave must be a manic. I mean, to get kicked out of Metallica because you're too crazy for them?

well to be fair, he had a near death experience and I think he got more spiritual...I mean he's attitude all the way but I think it's cool when they can do stuff like this...

he's a way way better guitarist than Kirk Hammet any day. Metallica got bigger w/o him, but lost their cool as a result. too bad. And once Cliff died, it was all over for them in my opinion.
