what kind is it ? at Myrtle beach there used to be a lil shop where you paid like 2 bucks to walk into a room on a catwalk and sharks circled you, i guess it got old they're not there anymore....maybe too confined for them

Looks like a baby porpoise... or something.. those are cool..

At Sea World I got to touch the bottle nose dolphins.. now Flipper's one cool mammal!

He's a harbor porpoise, about 1 year old. He was originally rescued in Rhode Island and then transfered to our facility on Long Island.

Cool. It reminds me that, here in Mystic, we have an aquarium and for some reason ( I guess I equate it to a tourist destination) never get around to going there.

This porpoise was actually rescued by the rescue program at Mystic and then transfered to us. Rhode Island doesn't treally have their own rescue program and they rely on Mystic for their stranded and injured marine mammal rescues. We are all members of the Northeast Region Marine Mammal Stranding Network.
