Very nice write up on you in the Blues Review Mag. (apr/may issue) on your Bladensburg show.

Your song "French Blues" is also getting rotation on the Dish Network satellite Blues station..Very cool, so I just thought I'd drop you a note to let you know I enjoyed the read and your music.

And to also give a heads up to those here, that don't normally read the Blues mags or listen to the blues stations, Alvin is a good reason to give the blues a listen.

Hey, Frankie,

Alvin has some big fans just down the road from you in Blacksburg. Maybe we'll see if he'd like to come and play at "Steppin' Out" or at the Lyric.

Alvin, I'm on the board of our local theater and we'll be discussing potential bookings for our fall season later this week. I'll toss your name into the ring and see wht happens. Meantime, I hope to catch you up in Norwich this summer, at the Chenango Bluesfest and at the Music Shop Pub.
