TWO GREAT COUNTRY MUSIC BENEFITS
For the "Died In the wool" Country Music fans, and folks that like to donate to a WORTHY cause, here is something to do Dec 3rd and 4th.
Saturday, Dec 3rd, from 4:00pm to ??? at the "Finish Line" in West Ft. Wth, Tx. "SANTA FOR SENIORS" : A benefit for Senior Citizens in Parker, Tarrant and Palo Pinto Counties. The 2005 "Country Band of the year "(28th Annual Terry Awards)"Country Night Live", will start it off at 4:00pm and play (and back up other guests) until 8:00pm. Guests scheduled to appear through the course of the event are, Darrell Mc Call, Randy Brown, Carl Vaughan, Sonny Burgess, Jake Hooker, Kristy Kayln, and others.
Starting at 8:00, or there abouts, Billy Keeble (winner of Album Of The Year at the Terry Awards) and his band, "Texas Pride" will take the stage, and play till midnight. Both Bands will back Guests, but it is unclear at this time who will perform when as a guest. Darrell McCall will be the special guest for the evening. There will be some great bar-b-que catered by Soda Springs Bar B Que from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. Admission price (advance tickets) are $20.00 per person, and are available at the Finish line, and the Ernest Tubb Record Shop in the Stockyards in Ft. Then, on Sunday, Dec 4th, at Pearls Dance Hall in North Fort Worth, "Kowboys For Kids" will begin at 2:00 pm with a huge line-up of country talent. Some of the same folks will be giving all day for the Seniors, and the next day for the under priveledged children in our area. We need to support both benefits to help the Young and Old alike IN OUR AREA. Come out, and enjoy Traditional Country Music while you help someone that needs it. (817- 624-2800 - Pearls Dancehall)
