A lil James Burton for your Friday - up close and personal

One of our locals, Luke Doucet has been putting on a guitar event for the last two years bringing in the best of the best. It's great because you get to mingle with all those folks in a casual environment seeing up close just how dedicated they are to this craft we all love.

Here is the "formal" interview with James, I thought you might like it.

Here is Lukes labels Youtube channel showing a bunch of others who make this thing really superb.

Very cool, Thanks! I saw James with the Emmylou and the Hot Band in San Diego in '75. They were at Golden Hall and I think Elite Hotel had just come out. Rodney Crowell was still in the band. What a show.

What a lucky guy. To do an interview and get a lesson from James Burton would be a dream for me.
