Can someone please 'splain to me what that guitar was supposed to wind up as, other than "completely ruined"?


BTWM did you notice the inlay popping up out of the fingerboard in that one pic?

funny thing is, i have seen a couple les pauls done like that in the last 4 or 5 years on eBay.

Tenor guitars were somewhat popular back then. Gibson offered some of there electrics with the tenor "option" straight from the factory. I played on at Elderly's once. I think it was an ES-175.
