Beach Boys and AutoTune

The Beach Boys were one of the early adopters of the original autotune algorithms, being developed as far back as the late 50's.

Here's a video demonstration.

Made me laugh! I love this guy's attention to detail, including the sound of the guitars being played unplugged.

I saw the Beach Boys, in 1978, and they actually sounded worse than that. They were all fighting on stage, and I remember two of them throwing down their instruments and just leaving the stage. Mike Love looked like he was wasted and was trying to sing all the lead parts, and it was just bad. Probably the worst live concert I've ever been too.
