Mynah Birds stuff available?

A friend of mine just turned me on to the fact that Neil Young and Rick James recorded an unreleased album in '65 in a Toronto band called the Mynah Birds. I see some articles here and there, but i can't find any trace of the music on the web. Is the stuff at all available?

If anybody would know, it would be youse guys. thanks.

Never seen/heard anything by 'em

I've been a fan of Neil Young bootleg material for decades
and have seen all kinds of rare NY stuff, but I have never seen any collector/taper type with anything from the Mynah Birds. Perhaps one of the musicians involved might have had a copy of recordings they made, but I've never seen any circulated through the taper/trader/bootleg
world.

Jeez, that about settles it. What a shame.

Thanks for the post.

Mynah Birds

I was in a music store out in the 'Ottawa Valley' countryside here in Ontario and there on the wall in a frame was an Ottawa Citizen full-page newspaper article on the Mynah Birds from the mid '60s. No Neil but Bruce Palmer and of course Rick James. They looked a lot like early photos of Love: British Invasion meets street R&B. With Bruce Palmer on bass, you know they must've had a wicked groove.
