Snow!

The leaves have changed to reds and yellows in the past couple weeks.

And this has been a week of frost covered rooftops, and early morning temps dropping down to freezing. Tuesday it snowed while my wife was driving down the canyon to work.

I'm sure it will warm up off and on before real winter arrives but it's time to find the gloves.

How's the weather in your neighborhood?

Horrible.. I can't remember the last time I was at the pool. I haven't had a day where there's not thunder storms threatening for about two months it seems...

Here in Texas it's been HOT. Still 90+ every day. But today a cool front is coming and the highs are in the low 80's for the next few days.

I heard that on Tuesday it snowed 2" in Jackson Hole. Man I miss that. Especially, since after it snowed the sun came out, melted all the snow except high in the mountains and it was a bright sunny fall day with gold Apsen leaves everywhere.

I don't know what I'm going to do when they start skiing in December. I've had a season pass for the past 5 years.

Upper 90's in LA today...

It's Santa Ana Season, the wind comes in off the desert instead of the ocean, and it's dry as dust. Blows new pollen in too. Combined with the ash dust in the air from the fires, it stuffs your head up but it's dry. Feels like the moisture is being drawn out of your body. Makes everyone here batty(er).

12 to 15 inches of snow here in the fine state of North Dakota. It will probably melt in the next few days, however, it's to damn early for this kind of weather.

It's getting chilly here in Denver. At night it gets down into the low 30s F.

Yesterday I saw snow on the high mountains of the front range for the first time since June.

:D Even though we get rubbish autumns and winters, wales actually gets much better weather all year round than Scotland, despite what they'd have you believe.

Yes, she lived in London for several years then Dublin for several more. She also really liked both (even the weather). Now she is retired to the Nevada desert, so I get sand and cactus pics instead of drizzles.

Well it looks the weekend will warm up around here, maybe I'll wash the car.

That's quite climate change.

Yeah but here we literally do get all four seasons in one day. Particularly this time of year.

Yeah lately it's been like that here, sudden changes from winter to summer in the course of a few minutes.. It's mad.

Today has just been dull weather though.

Ah well I don't mind rain, I actually like it when it rains lol.

We had nice weather last weekend, but once again the humidity is up around 90% here (the remnants of Tropical Storm Tammy). This last summer was one unrelentingly hot and humid stretch of hell.

I spent a week out in Colorado in July, just in time for a record-setting heat wave, and even then it was heaven on earth compared to Maryland!

I gotta move back!
