Is there anyone you envy and why?
I envy Pat Sajak. The dude gets to make a living as a lame game show host AND works with Vanna White. It's got to be the BEST GIG GOING...and 30 years at that.

Exactly. People who have/ had the talent, guts, perseverance, connections, "right place at the right time" factor to make a living in the music industry and connect with an audience. Getting up every morning knowing most of your energy will be spent playing music must be awesome. I know the grass is probably not as green as it appears and it's not always a walk in the park, but it probably beats most of our day jobs. Daydream/rant over.

I envy anyone who banged Lindsay Lohan............
And Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Joe Bonamassa for making it where they have while never truly selling out ala John Mayer. Tremendous players though, I'm a big fan of both. |

No need to, I and my life really aren't all that special.

Are we possibly confusing the word "envy" with the word "admire"?
Admiration makes you feel like you should try harder...envy makes you feel all acidy and spitefull that someone got something you didn't... And neither one of em' should be used in the same sentence as Lindsey Lohan... |
