Do You still enjoy guitar

I mean just for the pure fun of making music not worrying about scales or modes or for that matter what anyone else thinks you should sound like

When I have the house to myself and can turn up the volume, it's great to just play and go with it. Cheers!

I really don't know if I have 'improved' over the years with all of the 'practice'!

It's still a blast but def gets more challenging the further you go and the more you want to be able to do. At its worst it feels like work, but at its best there's nothing like playing. Gotta focus on the fun

I don't get it. I've been playing nearly ten years and I've only ever played for my own enjoyment, any money made from playing is a nice bonus, as far as I'm concerned.

Money has never been in the equation. I just hate when you don't get to practice as much as you want and feel your chops slipping and when you see fetus' in YouTube who can smoke you.

I'd probably be a much better player if I had spent lots of time on theory, scales, and attaining other musical knowledge - but I wouldn't have had any more fun. For me it's always been about the joy of making music.

After 5 years of steady practice, it's just now becoming a lot of fun. It's always been challenging and rewarding, but now it's also fun and getting to be more so with every bit of new skill and knowledge.

Absolutely.. now more than ever, and it's going on 48 years as of this month. Can't imagine life without a bunch of guitars!

Do I ever. I keep getting older, but playing sure doesn't. I just find it more and more fun with every passing year. Scales and modes too !
