Time for new forum acronym(s)?

PHMIDG (Please Help Me I Don't Get)

or just

IDG (I Don't Get)

Example 1: PHMIDG The Cowsills (std TDPRI use)

Example 2: PHMIDG cable (if you need someone to video tape something for you)

Example 3: IDG pointy guitars (std TDPRI use)

Example 4: IDG it as often as I would like. ( well.. ...may be not)

As you can see the two are quite flexible and the uses vitrually unlimited.

I offer these suggestions as a service to my fellow TDPRI brethren. Just THINK how much time and bandwidth it could save us!

This could be the start of something BIG. Just remember that you heard it here 1st!

YMMV, but IMHO it is needed and AFAIK it is not currently being used and IIRC it would be used A LOT!

SYOTFH (See You On The Funway Honky),

OWPS1 - Obligitory White People Song #1, which is Mustang Sally

OWPS2 - Obligitory White People Song #2, which is Brown-Eyed Girl.

These come based on the premise that, whenever you have a collection of white people listening to a live band, then regardles of talent, race, or instrumental makeup of the band or level of intoxication of the audience, the band will be expected or obliged to play both of these songs, at which time said white audience will begin to line-dance.

Lane, you rawwwwk, dude!

I just finished wiping the yogurt I nose-hurled onto my computer screen from the "OWPS." Priceless.

And to keep the list running, OWPS 4: "Sweet Home Alabama." One always marvels at the reaction to the line, "And I hope Neil Young will remember, a southern man don't need him around anyhow." My stars, the yelling, the whooping, the fist-pumping, the woop-wooping and high fiving. And this from the same demographic that actually buys Neil's CD's. Of course, what makes you an outlaw is SAYING, "Hey, I'm an outlaw."

U R 1 funny fella....

And never had a request for either of these songs. :)
