Prometheus, Star Trek ( the latest one), Solaris is great as mentioned before.

Alien, great movie with one big bonus scene for the beautiful ladies requirement.



Ann Francis in Forbiden Planet is also pretty tough to beat.

The contemporary Total Recall has Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Biel in it. I'll watch anything with Kate in it, even an Adam Sandler movie.
