Kids, they're never satisfied.
I was driving in my car with my 9 y/o daughter the other day, when out of the blue she says;
"We should have hover cars. And if you want to change the colour you just press a button and it changes colour. And if you need to refuel you just press a button and it gets refuelled." I could only agree with her. |

At least you didn't tell her... yeh, and kids need a mute button to shut them up when they annoy you in the car...;)
I'd go for a hover board myself...;) or come to think of it.. a house cleaning button would be cool...;)

The on-touch color-changing is pure genius. Your daughter is really inspiring!
I think we could see this in our lifetime. As for auto-recharging, that's almost a reality in electric cars now... But for flying cars, I think the sad reality is we'll never have that. |

the re-set button theory of modern life.... push the button and start again....;)
we used to aimlessly push the coin return buttons on all kinds of machines to purloin a few coins ...if we got lucky.. ;)

I would like a guitar that plays by itself, I could spend less time practicing and more time on internet forums...

Several years ago, a friend of mine wanted to patent a wall paint that would change colors with your mood. He had no idea of how to do it, but he was very sure that he could make a fortune. But I asked him what happens when there was a party. Or, if you were in a depressed mood, would it make things worse?
His mood changed after that. |

Which would be a good thing as your average driver can't even be trusted with 4 wheels on the ground.

Enjoy the fun of driving while it lasts... By the time technology is mature enough for flying cars, it'll be used to make cars that not only stay on the ground, but drive them selves, in convoys... GPS controlled speed limiting... no combustion engines...
OTOH, with cars that drives them selves... we'll have lots of time to practice guitar while commuting.
