This does not automatically mean I believe fuzzbender to be either human or beautiful. ok... I'll concede the human part...

And remember, there are a lot of other people out there making mistakes, so you don't always have to make your own to learn.
Mistakes are just another choice, a fork in the road. Lean and move on. I don't have many regrets. I can't change the past.

I heard someone define an expert as someone who has made every possible mistake in their field of expertise.
It goes along with what many others are saying here, and it should be liberating to us. I lived for too long fearing failure, thinking that failing would invalidate me in what I was doing, or even myself as a person. Now I know that failure can never paralyze you like the fear of failure can. P.S. No child should ever be told that they were a mistake because they weren't. There is no such thing as an unwanted or child, but there are many unworthy parents. |
