Calling all NYC area pickers!
Come out and help us Rock for the Gulf states!
For anyone, particularly in the Staten Island NY area, there will be a benefit for the Victims of Hurricane Katrina on Wednesday, September 14, at 7:00 pm at The Muddy Cup, on Van Duzer St on Staten Island. The event is sponsored by the Red Cross, and will feature the Brian Smith's Open Mic Project, a top notch bar band here on the Island. Brian is a great friend and a fantastic Tele slinger who is known for inviting anyone up to jam with his killer band. Loads of area musicians will be on hand, (including yours truly) to get up and rock for the cause. Bring a tele, a friend, and a few bucks to send to the victims of this horrible tragedy.
