epiphone sorrento 3/4
i'm looking at a late 50's/ early 60's epiphone sorrento 3/4 size guitar. it's the epiphone version of the gibson es-140t. unlike the full sized sorrentos, which have mini-humbuckers, this one has a p-90. i haven't ever seen another one, and i think it's really cool.
does anybody have any experience with one of these, or the gibson es-140? does the short scale make for tuning problems? right now, this one has funky old strings with a plain third string, and i think it'd probably benefit from some heavier strings with a wound third. also. what do you think about value? they're asking $1000. thanks, john |
