Weekend gigs (MD area)

I'm playing some good ol' country music again tomorrow night, Fri, Sept. 9, at Griff's Place ("Maryland's Oldest Authentic Honky-Tonk") with Ty Braddock. Info at www.tybraddock.com You may even see a certain male model/Telehawg-type with the initials R.V. featured on his website (he played on Ty's album...) ;-) Geez, those glamour boys get all the good gigs. :-| Hehe. Fun goes from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., come on out and say "Hey." :-)

Then on Sat, Sept. 10 I'll be playing some improvisational jazz/rock/razz/jock/fusion-type stuff at Greenbridge Pottery, 5159 Green Bridge Rd in Dayton, MD from noon until 3:00. Our sax player and 2nd guitarist won't be able to make it, but we'll have at least a guitar/bass/drums trio, and I'm still trying to line up a keyboard player; we'll see. :-| Kid-friendly, info at www.greenbridgepottery.com

(No gig Sunday – but I am going to see the

beat up on "da Bears.") ;-) CS

(Edited to fix a bad link... oy.)

Greeting fellow DC/MD/VA'er!

I must also take opportunity to divulge my MD area gig this weekend (only one!):

-09/10/05 College Perk Back-to-School Festival, College Park, MD, Acoustic, Free, 7:30 pm

It's only an acoustic set, there will be no teles... but I can promise some excellent female vocal harmonies and great songwriting to boot (www.thehickories.com).
