Playoff football baby!!
First prediction: by the 15th post of this thread. I'll explain later.
ON TO THE GAMES! Bengals at Texans This is tough. Classic example of hot (Bengals) versus cold (Houston). You have to wonder the mindset of a team that has completely blown it down the stretch. Houston was sitting pretty for home field advantage throughout, and completely let it slip away. I do believe that Cincy will keep it close... just don't know if I have the courage to pick them to win. UPSET SPECIAL!! Cincy keeps the momentum rolling, 24-21. Vikings at Packers Man, the experts are giving Minnesota no love, stating that the Packers they'll see today will be a lot different than, what? 6 days ago? All I know is GB has had no answers for the beast that is known as Adrian Peterson. That said, they are hosting this game, and it's cold and at night. However, GB has hardly been invincible hosting playoff games of late. I'm all over the place, huh? OK, I'll get off the fence... I'll go Packers, 28-24. But certainly wouldn't be surprised to see the Vikes pull it out. Colts at Ravens I think it finally comes crashing back to earth for Luck and the Colts. Too much Ravens experience, and Ray Lewis announcing retirement--that was a cruel trick to play on Indy. Ravens, 30-21. Seahawks at Redskins Here's a prediction: the winner of this game makes it to the NFC championship. I really want the Seahawks to win, though I love RG3 and I have nothing against the Redskins. Shanahan's career playoff record without a guy named Elway at QB? 1 and 4. Hmmm... If this game was in Seattle, I think the Seahawks would win running away. But it's not. So I'll go with them winning a close one: Seattle 28-26. Your picks please!

i'll take the visitors in all four games. Bengals, Colts, Vikings, Seahawks. Redskins vs Seattle should be the most fun to watch. gazing into my crystal, i see a Wilson to Sidney Rice TD at the end to seal it for the 'Hawks.

I like Adrian but I wanna see the Vikes go home. That's all I really want.
I pick the Cleveland Browns to beat the Baltimore Colts. :^) Lewis is sure going to be missed. Gotta have good guys and bad guys to make it work. |

If Arian Foster is over his funk then I can see the Texans win this, otherwise Bengals take it.
Pack at home with all there WR healthy. AP is a beast though, he helped me win my fantasy league this year. Going colts, I'm impressed with Luck. Im not a Seahawk fan but they are a well oiled machine at the right time. So, Bengals Pack Colts Seahwks

There are sure some terrific games lined up this weekend! I like the Vikings chances as Peterson is in a class all by himself, but GB is just too good. I think Aaron and the lads will kick some major booty.....GB 38 MN 18
Cincy has been a real surprise and played tough all year, but I see the Texans getting back to the dominant play that had them near the top of the power ranking all year. They are just too good a team....Tx 28 CI 17 I'd love to see Indy do well. Andrew Luck has been amazing this year and I won't count them out here, but I think (as was mentioned) the experience factor of Baltimore may be too much to overcome.....although Luck (along with RG3 and Russell Wilson) has certainly not shown the rookie nerves this year. With Ray Lewis announcing his retirement, it may give the Ravens a bit more incentive.....as if they need it! Bal 24 Ind 21 Now, down to THE game! As a life long Seahawk fan, I've seen things this year that have never happened, I mean NEVER, EVER happened with this team. This year has been special. And as it is in the other Washington, it starts with a rookie QB. Russell Wilson has been amazing this year and a pure pleasure to watch. These two teams are very similar. Great rookie QB's, great running back's, (Morris is #2 in the NFL and Lynch is #3) and tough, tenacious defense's. Seattle is as healthy as they have ever been and having CB Brandon Browner back from suspension will be a big help. It is going to be a great game to watch! The skins are a darn good team...7 wins in a row is pretty awesome. However, I'm picking the Hawks in this one, 28 - 17 |

My predictions aren't always the best but here goes:
Texans over the Bengals. This will be the closest game of the weekend in my opinion Pack over the Vikings. Lambeau will be the difference from last week. Colt over the Ravens. Just a gut feeling. Playing for their coach wins over playing for retirement. Seahawks over the Redskins. Hawks are my NFC pick for the SB. Like I've said before, my picks haven't been very good historically but that's why they play the games. CC |

The Vikings game should be a hoot. Cold and Saturday night at Lambeau....lots of lubed cheeseheads. The stands will be awash in beer, ice and vomit.
Sköl Vikings! .

Texans baby!!!
Green Bay Ravens Redskins I was at Reliant Stadium last year for the Wild Card game with the Bengals. It was soooo loud it really through Andy Dalton off his game. It will be every bit that loud today. We here in Houston are baffled by how they have let the home field advantage they worked so hard to accomplish slip away. Our line backing corp is decimated and thin. Injurys and youth on the offensive line are our Achilles. Go Texans |

I usually like picking underdogs, but not this week.
Texans Packers Ravens Seahawks FWIW, I do like the Vikings getting the points, but gotta go Pack straight up.

Bengals vs Houston just started here on the box.....
sunday morning 7:30 .... breakfast footy, sweet.... My cat likes the Bengals..... though.. a GF dropped in the other day.. her car's engine bay was covered in oil because she forgot to put the filler cap on after a top up.. then drove 100 miles.. oh dear... where am I going to find a cap today?.... and a right mess to clean... went looking for some type of plugging device to get her home... then by some miracle she finds the dusty, oil free filler cap jammed down beside the battery and the metal work.... "Oh here it is!.". (girly giggle) shakes head... so lucky..the car gods were smiling, by some miracle it never dropped out on the road...... so, I blasted a can of spray degreaser over everything and hosed all the oil off onto the ground.... started up clean and sent her on her way.... I have an oil patch on the dirt now.... that could be an omen to go for Houston/Texas who knows?...

Just got done popping my popcorn for the Green Bay Packers vs the Minnesota Vikings game.
Last they played at Lambeau I was there. Hope it goes the same way tonight. Will probably be a horserace.
