Ok, I think it's time I come clean about my weird fetish:
After a gig or practice session, I love to put my nose in the back of my Twin Reverb and smell the hot tubes. I could smell that smell for hours.

Anybody else love the smell of hot tubes ?

I love hut tubs too, but if they smell you need to add some chlorine.

Haha, yep I can still smell those old tube heads of mine in my memory just like it was yesterday. Red hot tubes and black tolex make a nice combination.

I love the smell of hot tubes in the morning, wait, or is that napalm?

Actually I like the tube smell as well and the smell of firing up a computer for the first time out of the box.

Sometimes I would smell smoke, after finishing a DIY tube amplifier.
Then I'd cry a lot...................

Those were still around through my high school years in the mid eighties. My humanities teacher always smelled like the ink because she cranked out so many of them.
