Check out the sandwich that my wife made me last night!

We're debating on what to do for dinner. The wife is not really hungry... and decides that she'll just eat some cereal. Of course there are little groceries in the house. I said I would go get some fast food for myself.

As I'm sitting in the recliner, trying to motivate myself to put my shoes on, the wife marches in with the following sandwich and hands it to me.

Two different types of bacon:

1 - Burgess Peppered Bacon
2 - Oscar Meyer Center Cut Bacon

Pepperidge Farms Sesame Seed Bun, lightly toasted.

She also brought me a glass-bottled Coke, and a bag of Ruffles potato chips, and some french onion dip.

But the best part of the whole thing was the side garnish of bacon. I saved that till I was finished with everything... just to make sure that I kept a solid bacon taste in my mount for quite a while after the meal.

The only thing more I could have asked for would have been a light layer of BBQ sauce on the buns. But... that would be like complaining about the laundry. So I just ate my god-food and enjoyed it.

I love a bacon sandwich. They don't gotta be anymore than just bacon and bread either.

As soon as you finished it, you should have told her to go into the kitchen and make you a sandwich!

I want that, and I'm salivating, but my conscience says I can't eat it unless there's some lettuce and tomato on it.

But that's why we have whiskey, so we can drown out the voice of our conscience!

A tasty and healthy addition - sprinkle it with Lipitor!

If I were the op, I'd be checking my online bank statements. Just to make sure my wife hadn't recently taken out a large life insurance policy on me.

Death by bacon might be double indemnity...

Edited to add- "Death By Bacon" would make a completely awesome band name.
