T.O. is such a moron!!

This guy is cracking me up, I'm not an Eagles fan, but if I were, I would be sending donations to get him on the next flight out of town. I know there is no "I" in team, but apparently there is an "m-e"! I can't believe that the Eagles Organization is putting up with this. I mean how uncomfortable would someone be if they had a bad relationship with your Boss/Spouse/Bandmate etc... and you had to save face. It never works because the two sides are so far apart that it becomes destructive.
Don't get me wrong, the Eagles have been on top for too long and it's time someone else takes over (I'm a Cowboy's fan ) The Eagles knew what they were getting into and were to hard-headed thinking they could change him. What's really funny is how hard McNabb lobbied for T.O. and now, he's the one with egg on his face. Next up, Randy Moss, one year and he's pulling the same antics. 8)

I am a lifetime 49ers fan and i was so glad when TO left I knew we would suck last year without him, but what a tradeoff. The niners got the best part of the deal

I'm a big Eagles fan, and I'm happy with how they dealt with it. Pinkston is out for the season and they dealt off Freddie Mitchell (for all his talking, he's a pretty solid receiver in their offense). They NEEDED one of their 3 starting receivers and they said they wouldn't trade him. They basically gave him the option of playing this season for his contract or not playing at all for no money at all. He doesn't have to be happy and him and Donovan don't have to go out and eat dinner together, as long as he produces and shuts up I'm a fan of him.

You sign a contract,you honor a contract....simple as that.
It's his fault for signing such a long term deal.

I'M A NINER FAN, A T.O. FAN,

And while I think he's being a little silly in this regard, overall, I think he's a great guy. His status as a player is beyond discussion, but I remind all of you, he has NO criminal record, no history of being involved with shady characters, or drugs of any kind. He doesn't make rap records, he cares for his grandmother, whose Alzheimer's is so bad she doesn't know him any more and he has testified before Congress about the trials and tribulations of caring for someone with Alzheimers.

Furthermore, while he was brash and abrasive in some of the things he said or did while with the Niners, damn near all the time, he was RIGHT. THe decisions and calls made by the coaching staff were horrible and they were largely the reason the Niners went 7-9 in the last season Owens was here. I wish he was still here. I think Nolan could set him down, deal with him like a man and TO would be a happy receiver.

As for the "Star" incident, I hate the Cowboys so bad, I LOVED it. I thought the brouhaha was much ado about nothing.

JMO, YMMV.

As a Philly sports fan, it was such a great thing hearing the same guy who did THAT was coming here.

Notice how all the hoopla came to a screetching halt after T.O. met with Andy Reid last week. Andy must have put T.O. in his place. Also, Owen's agent is making the talk show circuit. What an A-hole he is. He'll go on any show at all. Talk about being desperate for attention. He was even on Adam Corrolas show. Rosenhaus is a botton feeder.

Look

they got what they bargained for.

T.O. hasn't changed. He is the same guy he was at San Fran.

There wasn't anything hidding here. This whole thing was inevitable.

Ole Donavan needs to call Jeff Garcia and ask what his secret was for keeping his head on straight.

The amazing thing about Donovan is how levelheaded he is. The only time he's ever shown any mental weakness was the Super Bowl. He always goes out the next drive and plays for it even if he's just thrown the cheapest interception ever. He dealt with this situation really well, keeping quiet and just basically telling TO to shut up when he started to talk.

And to think, people booed here when they didn't pick Ricky WIlliams .

It was just a handful of idiot fans being coerced by Cataldi.
