Some coool old pics my Dad took 50+ years ago













in 1960-62 my Dad was on an old farmhouse kick living in El Reno Oklahoma all we had to do was drive a few miles out in the countrt yo see stuff like this.

Give us the background info. Where were they taken, what the photo means as far as how it relates to your Dad. Was this a hobby for your Dad? Anyways, its fun to see old photos.

My Dad had photography as a hobby had his own darkroom and developed his oen photos. He got on a windmill and old farm machines desire and we would drive 10-15 miles out of town and look for old farm houses and barns.

He used a German made camera a Rolleiflex.

I'm a great nostalgist and lover of old photos. The third one and the two last ones might as well have been Norway (south-eastern part) ... Very nice indeed!

great photos!I suspect that your family was there during,or just after the Great Depression.If so,they survived the Dustbowl era.The photos are very moving! Thanks for

Yep my Dad was born in 1926 passed away in 1996.

Nice. Looks like my grandfathers old place.
When I was a kid the old wagon chassis they used to travel to west Texas in 1904 and some old horse drawn farm equipment were still sitting in a pasture.
