My best friend of 32+ years I lost back in August when I finally told him his alcohol drinking was getting way out of hand. He denied everything of course, things went downhill from there, we haven't spoken since, serious bad blood now.

I've had a few dreams about him since, that things were back to the good ole days, we were back jamming in his garage, nothing was wrong. Then I wake up and almost cry.

I've wondered if he has ever had similar dreams about me, us getting back together, patching things up, we can play guitars together again. It will never happen tho as long as he keeps drinking.

I read a line tonight that said that if you can't sleep at night, it's because someone has you in their dream.

If you're thinking of him, be assured he's thinking of you. Keep an open mind and ear. 32 years is half of forever in this lifetime...
