My hometown paper has an add for a Guild HDCG1. I looked up that model on the google and came up with nothing. He says its 6 years old in good shape for $650 plus an amp that isn't described and a hardshell case. I tried calling earlier this morning...no answer. Any info on these?

Nah, I'm a bit of a Guild fan (although nowhere near an "axepert") and I'm at a loss, too. :-| You say the ad says, "hardshell case." All I can think is that sometimes the letters "HDC" are used to represent the idea of "hard(shell) case," so "HDCG1" might actually be the model designation for the <u>case</u>, and they copied it off the case or the box somewhere. But that's just a guess, sorry. :-(

I'd say keep calling until you can get a better description of it. Best of luck, CS

That would make sense I guess. I got a hold of the owner. Appears to be an older lady who is movin and sellin for her husband. She says the amp is a Fender... but doesn't know what kind. That may be worth a look.
