Any one near Elkins WV?

I'll be there next week for Augusta Heritage Center's blues and swing week. There are public events on Tues/Thurs nights. I'll be in the Tues night concert and the Thurs. night dance band. Info here:

I don't know if anyone from the band Trapezoid is still involved with the Augusta Festival, but if you run into any of them, tell 'em hello. I spent most of a summer in Elkins when I was the 'Zoid's sound guy. Some beautiful country and it's a great festival.

That band is long gone. Bassist Ralph Gordon will be there. I work with Ralph at swing week and I'll give him your regards.

I don't know if you know but Freyda Epstein (from the second version of Trapezoid) died a few years ago...in a car accident. Late at night coming home from a gig someone crossed the median and hit her head on. RIP

If you would give Ralph my e-mail address (pablomago@earthlink.net) I'd be eternally grateful. I knew about Freyda, but not until months after the fact. She was a dear friend and I miss her a lot.
Doesn't Paul Reisler still play from time to time as "Trapezoid" with hired guns?
I'm also trying to get in touch with Lorraine Duisit.

I did mention you to Ralph who remembered you (though neither one of us knew your last name)....he recalled you having red hair and said that you were "a very nice guy"

I hadn't heard about Freyda, so that's bummer news to me. I used to hear her do gigs occasionally in Charlottesville, plus I heard Trapezoid a few times. Talented lady.
