Ben Webster: "King Of Tenors", PolyGram Records 1993.
11 tracks of wonderful music originally recorded in 1953 and first found on the LP "The Consummate Artistry of Ben Webster". Surrounded by the elite musicians of the day, Ben Webster shines. |

Ray Price: "The Essential Ray Price, 1951 - 1962", Sony "Columbia Country Classics" 1991.
A wonderful compilation of Ray's original recordings for Columbia. Boy, was he good! Great country music! |

Tom Petty - lots of Tom.
My son and I have really gotten on a TP&HB kick lately and bought most of their CDs and DVDs. The mp3 player for the golf course is mostly all TP these days. (shot an 83 so it must agree with my game).

Thanks Teleplayer. I have heard a lot about Mudcrutch and am looking forward to exploring that era but am still digesting a lot of this new/old TP we've gotten lately.

Jimmy Thackeray and the Drivers "We Got It" mostly a tribute to
Muscle Shoals great song writer, player (Tele) and vocalist Eddie Hinton. Great CD and Jimmy is most guts and soul player from the '70s. I don't hear too many Strat players that can make it sound Roy Buchanan or Albert Collins but Jimmy does it ongoing. There is a cool Surf instrumental on this CD also.
