Tom Petty - lots of Tom.

My son and I have really gotten on a TP&HB kick lately and bought most of their CDs and DVDs. The mp3 player for the golf course is mostly all TP these days.

(shot an 83 so it must agree with my game).

RodeoTex:
You need to check "Mudcrutch"
Petty's band before HB's with members of the HB's
and others before the HB's

Thanks Teleplayer. I have heard a lot about Mudcrutch and am looking forward to exploring that era but am still digesting a lot of this new/old TP we've gotten lately.

The Missus just asked me to download some "Shins." She asked so nice that I just couldn't say no. Now we're giving 'em a listen. Not bad. Kind of backgroundy, soundtracky stuff for a weekend.

Jimmy Thackeray and the Drivers "We Got It" mostly a tribute to
Muscle Shoals great song writer, player (Tele) and vocalist Eddie Hinton.
Great CD and Jimmy is most guts and soul player from the '70s.
I don't hear too many Strat players that can make it sound Roy Buchanan
or Albert Collins but Jimmy does it ongoing.
There is a cool Surf instrumental on this CD also.
