Waylon Jennings or Glenn Danzig?



Here's the stats:

Height: 6'1".
Weapon of choice: Telecaster or dynamite.



Height: 5'4"
Weapon of choice: Inflated pectorals, Lucifer.

IMO: Jennings (even though he's dead) would make him run back behind Mother's skirt.

Waylon was tough, I have no doubt. Problem is, he inspired legions of dudes who think they're Waylon and ain't -- and who are destined to get their butts kicked sooner or later by somebody they were sure they could take.

Context is key with this kind of thing. Of course in most situations a dead guy isn't nearly as useful as a still living one. But if it's an election to public office, the dead guy takes it nearly every time. I have seen it happen several times, truth being stranger than fiction. Dead guy gets some sympathy votes, and after all, he can't do anything else to further sully his reputation. And we all tend to look back on history, even recent history, with a bit of rose tint on our glasses.

Anyone dumb enough to have his pic taken looking like this, is obviously dead from the shoulders up. So the match can go on, but Waylon still wins with a knockout in a minute and forty seven in the first round.
