Explain wearing wool/knit caps in the summer.

I see it all the time in Hollywood. It must be hot and/or smelly. For some reason when I see someone with one on in the summer I think "Heroin Addict"

The OP hits on what I think whenever I see one of these hipster doofuses (doofi? doofae?) wearing a knit cap in Southern California in the summer: That thing must smell like the devil's butthole.

It was 95 here today, and muggy.... I saw two guys wearing them. Ridiculous.

No tuques before Thanksgiving (early October). That should be a rule like not wearing white after Labour Day.

Let's list the knit hipsters:

1. Mayer
2. Chesney
3. Timberlake

And it goes on and on. Well actually no it doesn't.

I see this quite often on skaters around town... back in the day, the skaters & BMX's I was with wouldn't have given two shizznits about putting fashion over function (but most of our fashion didn't progress beyond T-shirt designs).

Knit caps at over 75 degrees + humidity, can't be healthy

In years past, if not any more:

Colin Farrell
Heath Ledger
Ethan Hawke
Zac Efron

Basically, every hipster d-bag you can think of has sported the knit cap at some point. (Plus Mayer, Ledger, and Timberlake)

And here I thought this game could have been interesting. Had to go and ruin it for all of us!

Like wearing pants below your butt and thinking it's cool, it's just one of those many mysteries of the Universe.

They'd probably go OK with Jumper Pants...
