I've been gigging the PW mini, I love it.

It doesn't always turn off when you push the button, you have to push it with the proper force.

I also wish it did NOT have 440 calibration, because sometimes I have to put it upside down on certain headstocks, and its confusing to try and remember which of the two buttons is which (on/off is the only button I would want on there.). I never play anything outside of 440.

It is also hard to read in the sunlight, and pretty fragile. But I love this thing, nothing else is small enough to use onstage for me.

After a ton of gigs, it's still going strong, and has been the best piece of gear I have bought in years! It allowed me to ditch my pedalboard altogether. A fantastic tool for gigs as well as sitting in the sofa, string-changing, etc.

I only have had experiences with the snark so i can not compare, but it does its job. Mine sometimes gets confused but if i stop and give it a second it will work again.

Great little tuner for only five euro bucks.
Yeah, that works fine. Can't go wrong with it.
I have the Planet wave NS tuner and had the Intellitouch which was stolen. The cheap thomann thing works just as fine. just put some tape around the battery compartment to prevent loosing the cover.

My favorite is also the Snark, and I doubt you can't beat the Amazon price for them.

Snark!

I bought a Fishman clip on a couple years ago and I have a couple Planet Waves clip ons and I bought a Snark about two months ago.

The Snark is faster and more accurate and easier to read than the others,

Snark!

Snark, Snark and Snark. Get one for each case/guitar. You can find 'em for $10 bucks or less if you look around. Worth every penny.

One fun thing about the Snarks, besides the fact that I think they work nicely, is that they kinda look like little one-eyed monsters that are biting your guitar headstock. That's got to count for something.

I'm a big believer in using ears. Tuning by ear is becoming a lost art in this electronic era, with people tuning with their eyes instead, and deferring to the the needle and flashing colored lights of an electronic tuner as if it better than their own hearing.

If your snazzy electronic tuner tells you your guitar is properly tuned, but your ears aren't convinced, which do your rely on and which do you "overrule?"

+1! (Good reminder to use the ears!)

I've used the Planet Waves PWCT10, it was a pretty good tuner, fat and accurate... unfortunately, it sprouted legs...

Currently using a Korg clip-on, not as accurate or fast, but it works... gonna have to look into a snark... would love the Peterson, but far too pricey...

Snark. Defies conventional wisdom being cheap and good.

Thanks for the heads-up on the Planet Waves NS Mini Tuner. I'v been using the bigger Planet Waves unit. Very good tuner. Just ordered a few of the PW Mini Tuners from Amazon. They look to be just perfect for the small Tele headstock.
