T-shirts--those too. Boots to shovel snow--I'm in agreement there, too. Denim jean shorts--yes, those too. A few other articles of clothing mentioned in a couple of other threads. Just the cultural stuff and the occasional suit, as needed.

If I'm goin' out it'll be smarter jeans or trousers (depends upon venue and occasion!) and a smart/casual shirt with a pair of smart Chelsea boots. Gigging is generally a shirt, jeans and a pair of All Stars - gotta look good, but feel comfortable! The only shorts I ever wear tend to be camo-patterned, knee length, "jam-packed full o' pockets", baggy shorts! I don't really do summer attire! And all o' that aside, can't beat the feeling of wearing a good fitting suit with a shirt and tie... When the occasion calls for it, I'm happy to oblige!

I guess I'm just old. Never heard them called "Jorts." Now "Daisy Dukes" . . . but those are very different from the jean shorts I wear (they wouldn't look good on me).

My wife made me a pair of really wild green paisley pants for stage attire. I combine them with my cowboy boots and I'm ready for some 60's rockin'. I get two different reactions, some people say "cool pants", other people just laugh.

Oh there's "proper attire" for males? Well, ****, I've been wearing dresses for years and everyone's only complimented me! I just bought a $350 pair of heels! Am I gunna have to take those back? They're so damn cute, too.........
