Cowboy Boots HELP

About 10 years ago I bought a pair of Justin boots for my wife and I from a online place recommended to be a great place to deal with.

IIRC it was in Texas ( go figure).

Well for the life of me I can't remember their name, but I think if I hear it, I'll know.

I am thinkin' it's about time for an update in the 'ol s kickers !

Thanks for your time.

Kind of have to narrow it down a bit. Every western wear store in Texas sells Justins.

http://www.justinboots.com/en/Locator.html

This page lists the online stores.

Beat me to it. Cavender's Boot City was the first thing that came to my mind. They have a big store here in town.

Of course, sjtalon, you're talking about online, but I have to go in and try 'em on. I've got a pretty wide foot, so I can't assume they have any given style in my size. A friend who is a manager of a Red Wing store here once put my foot in his Brannock device (that typical measuring tool) to determine my precise shoe size. He looked down and exclaimed, "My goodness! They're SQUARE!!!" (Thanks for nothing, Bob. )

FWIW, I prefer Larry Mahan Roper boots. Got a pair of brown ones for everyday wear (and I do wear them most every day) that are 4 years old and still holing up (although they need re-soling). Then I also have a pair of black ones which I generally reserve for my Sunday-go-to-meetin' boots. Got 'em on right now, actually.

Sheps regularly puts the Wrangler "Rodeo" 13MWZ jeans on sale.

Classic. Just add plenty of starch.

Welluh Dadgum! Jes' looked and they are $20.

Wonder why we call em a "pair" of jeans?

Buying boots on-line can be a crap-shoot?
Just about every boot manufacturer, makes the same size boot slightly different.
I have a wide foot too, and trying on a boot first before buying is a must.

I'm a big fan of Rios of Mercedes or their more affordable brand Anderson Been. They are made in Texas and use the old wooden dowels in the heel and full leather soles. For the guys with wide feet, I recommend the square toes. They are wider and keeps your toes from cramming into a point. I have a pair of Beens that I absolutely love. Since I spend more time on asphalt I recommend the sole savers for longer lasting and better traction.

Thanks but not there yet. I have looked at the venders listed on the mfc. sites too.

Thought of Sheplers too but my wife said that wasn't it.

They sell other western apparel too, hats, ect,.,

My wife and I just can't think of it !!
