No lightning arrestors at your house/building?

I live on an island with the most occurrence of lightning strikes in the world, as long as your under a tree, in a car or in a insulated building, play on and rock on!

I suspect the building codes in Singapore might be just a tad more stringent than those in Texas... I have everything on surge protectors, but when we have lightning storms, I still make sure everything's turned OFF.

technically, 100% amp safe, is pull from amp plug from wall socket in heavy lightning..

I sleep through thunder(lightning)storms! Not healthy because you only wake up when the water starts hitting your face, and by then your cupboard's half soaked in rain.

When a lightning hits the block/building, things go poof and we solemnly go to the fuse box and pop it back up. So far, in all the poofs I have been, nothing has blown, cept' fuses or light bulbs. You can't be too careful, but just don't answer the telephone or fix the water heater then!

I also actually like to play electric under rainy/stormy conditions. Because I can turn it up and it won't actually bother the neighbours.

But I do hope I stay alive through all the High Voltage, Done Dirt Cheap and be able to post here again!

I am not too macho to admit that thunder storms scare the bejeezus out of me.

Thats one cool-butt guitar! Should restore it and play it. Definitely the sound would be thunderous and the pickin' lightning.

Yeah not smart to plug in during a lighting storm. Just wait until it passes.

So the question on everyone's lips is, does a Les Paul "lightning" model sound better than a Tele?
