As a collective do the members of TDPRI...

know everything that can be known?

We got some smart people here. Doctors, scientists, spellers, readers, engineers, researchers, computer people, people probably privy to top secret stuff, carpenters, all different professions, hobbies, and interests. You see where I'm going with this.

Surely we know everything...

We know about Telecasters.

Are you implying that there is anything else that needs to be known?

Um, we don't even know whether rosewood is better than maple, or if ash is better than alder. I could go on!

Cheers,
Geoff

For some reason I find we are short of lawyers... but I do not see that as a deficit just maybe Teles don't appeal to lawyers... no pretense, give 'em a LP I guess with gold trim and inlays even better.

maybe we are like Sheldon.. re: Physics > "everything about the universe that I'm supposed to know, I do know." Of course, like Sheldon that does not include human relationships with the opposiite sex or sarcasm.

I'm not ashamed to admit that I have used tdpri as my own personal search engine. Why Google or Wiki when the guys here know more? Way more.

From personal experience, I find we certainly do have our very own in-house legal counsel! I asked a question about trademarks once and got a fairly prompt response from a lawyer. Can't remember who, exactly... maybe I should look that up just in case...

Anything somewhat music related, I almost always search TDPRI first. I get tired of searching through all of the Google results in order to find the best responses are on here anyway. Since the search function on this website is a little less than useful, imagine how happy I was to find out I could type "site:tdpri.com " and then whatever I wanted to search on in the Google box and it would only return TDPRI results!

I learned everything I know from TDPRI so I must be part of the back up for the knowledge base.

There are a few lawyers I've seen posting here. I'm just one lawyer and one doesn't make for a trend, but I love Tele-style guitars (I like building them, and I like slightly offbeat Tele-styles, so I don't have a real Fender yet). Gibsons and Epiphones are nice too, however.

I'm an attorney my friend, and there's not a PRS or gold-hardware adorned LP in sight! I will admit, though, that my Tele is a cherry burst Deluxe. It's not exactly a prom queen - more like a girl-next-door with a nice dress.

And yes, people here do know everything.
