I accepted long ago that a mix of grey and bald was inevitable. Once you get that far, it's OK.

Exactly where are you growing your beard? On second thoughts maybe it's better I don't know.

That's another issue...less hair on your head yet more of it growing elsewhere.

It's like it's too tired to go all the way to the top and just starts growing part way up.

Well, I think the problem is all those cheap-ass digital cameras out there. I think that the company making the budget CCDs has bad QC or something. I mean, every time someone takes a picture of me from behind, there's this bright spot in the middle of the picture. And given that the people taking the pictures are framing them correctly, it usually ends up right in the middle of my head.

My beard was bright Red when I was younger.
Thus the nickname......Red.

Didn't turn Grey at all.
Went straight from Red to White???

Happening to me, also. (Along with an ever-increasing bald spot on the back of my head). My beard is about 50/50 red to grey, or, as my wife says, salt and red pepper. Hair is just starting to get a few glints of grey in it.

Can't stop time.

Found my first gray hairs in jr high school,.. by high school I was the designated alcohol buyer which did supply me w/ extra spending money on the weekends.

Let's say turning gray did have fleeting advantages. Those advantages have long fled.

I'm not getting old. I'm just not. I mean really, what are the chances that I could be aging, vs. the chances that I'm finally becoming a wizard? Old? Yeah, right...

If I were old, I wouldn't be nearly so excited about going out right now to buy a staff and big billowy robe. Nah, I'm definitely becoming a wizard. That's the only explanation for the gray.

Got my first grey hair at the ripe old age of 19. Here 11 years later I've got quite a few more on my head and in my beard.

The blessing and the curse of having blonde hair - the gray is not so apparent, but suddenly you see a lot more grays when you get a hair cut.

Even worse my hairline seems to be getting higher and higher.

When I was a teen, I had long blonde curly hair; some friends said I looked like Roger Daltrey (at least my hair looked like his). Now I just look like a grandpa.

You know you're getting old when the hair stops growing on top of your head, and starts growng out of your ears and nose.

One day years ago my daughter walking behind me pointed out my first grey hairs and I was really surprised because they were in back and I hadn't known.
I've heard the wizard bit since growing it long again.
But what really cracked me up was when my mother looked at me and said (with a distinct note of surprise) "Why Michael, you have a dewlap!".
Happy mothers day mom, wish you were still with us.
