Chilliwack fans be jealous.

The production company I work for did two shows for chilliwack this week.

The first night we drive over to the venue set our gear up get everything going. Then the band shows up set their gear up and starts to sound check. Well once they get too Ed's(the guitar player) amp, it didn't work. The speaker was shot. It was an old silver face Princeton with an original speaker. I'm the first one to say anything, I let them know I have a Blues Deluxe at home I could rent them. Ed says yes he'd like to rent it.(He was debating bringing his own Blues Deluxe on tour)
So I run home and pick it up. He plays the gig with it, and everything goes fine.

The next night they(the band and our crew)went to another town and did another show. I wasn't on to work the second show.
But apparently it went swimmingly.

Now to the interesting part. This morning I go into our(the production company) wearhouse to pick up my amp. I walk in and the other guys are smiling they point at my amp.....

The whole band signed it for me.
The look on my face must have been priceless.
I'm so pleased.

So the now the question.
Where can I get a replacement back panel for my amp?
Because it will be a cold day in you know where before I take this one out gigging.

Now THAT'S funny. John Candy's mini-solo is hi-freakin-larious!!

I'm a big SCTV fan ( got the box-set DVD and everything) and I've never seen that.

Between SCTV and all the Canadian music I love, I thinking was born about 20 miles too far south.

Nice. I saw them on Canada Day at Churchill Square in Edmonton, Alberta in 2002 or 2003 and on Canada day in 2004 on George Street in St. John's, Newfoundland. Great band. Unfortunately, Brian "Too Loud" MacLeod was not there.

Love me some Chilliwack. The guitar solo in "My Girl" (not present on the radio version) is a masterpiece.

Brian MacLeod's been gone how long now?

Too bad you didn't get any shots of the band in action.
