It looks great but it seems like the last big summer for Marvel. Spiderman is done with 3, this Batman will be the last and I suspect with the Avengers Iron Man will be the last. It's been a great run.

Uhhh, back on track, I'm obviously excited about this movie, but the trailer doesn't exactly blow my mind. I have faith in Nolan(and the rest of the talent involved), but I'm a bit worried for some reason.
I guess there are worse worries to have |

this trailer has me very excited. not only does the bat man bring out the kid in me, but a substantial amount of the filming took place in downtown pittsburgh- in the alleys and streets surrounding my office.
it was great fun wandering around and taking pics of the batwing and several batmobile/rollers. i was thrilled to see some of these locations and toys appear in the trailer. can't wait for july 20th. there's even an outside shot that i'll be a continuity error in the background of a scene- up on a fourth floor fire escape snapping pics. suddenly, they were filming! oh geez. i AM nerdboy, when it comes to the bat man! |

The less Johnny Depp, the better, as far as I'm concerned.
I know everybody loves him, but I can't stand him. So although I would have preferred the Riddler, I'm glad it's Tom Hardy. (Even though he's playing Bane) |

This one looks very bleak. Are we going to suffer through a series of failures and setbacks in this film until Batman gets it together in the final ten minutes to defeat the villain? This is the current trend in superhero films. The second Iron Man was a series of setbacks and downer moments until the final battle. The third Spiderman was a string of bad things until close to the end.
I've always enjoyed the hero movies where we get to cheer a few times throughout the film, rather than watching an hour and a half of negative plotline until the victory sequence.

Hey Kelnet, we meet again,
Cheer up, I'm pretty sure B. Wayne dies in this one, so it won't be business as usual. Oh, uh, Spoiler Opinion Alert! (Without getting political, it seems to have a very 1vs99 % kinda thing goin' on) Wonder how that'll play out |

It would be a brave movie studio that kills off such a profitable character as Bruce Wayne. However, I don't know the comic that well. Has there ever been a different Batman? They did it with Robin, but was Bruce Wayne ever replaced?

Is Bruce Wayne profitable?
Batman is. Batman can't die. But Bruce? Remember the first one, with Ra's Al Ghul? Someone who is someone else can live forever It's all cyclical |
