Naming a cruise liner Titanic II seems pretty disrespectful of the 1,500 passengers and crew who died when the original went down. I wouldn't shed a tear if the new one sank with no casualties other than this arrogant Aussie idiot's money.

Treading on graves and tempting fate. I wouldn't want to be on board.

I think Clive fancies himself as the next emperor of Australia.... I'm rich.. so I should be boss...

he's "bought" the liberal party ... and wants to stand against the Treasurer in the next Federal elections....

wants to import cheap labour from OS to work his mines...

and now he wants this ship,, built in China too... so much for aussie jobs, clive...

No pun intended, and certainly no disrespect for the the victims of 1912, but I think this billionaire should just let it lie. I think extremely wealthy people sometimes fall into the trap of thinking they have to do big things for some reason. Bill Gates seems to be the exception. He gives his money away freely.

great idea! build a copy of the Titanic in China
what could possibly go wrong?

after that he plans to build a copy of the Hindenburg in Taiwan

then crash them both into each other

the headline will read Titanic sunk by Hindenburg
Hindenburg burst's into flames, film at 11:00,.....on HBO

Finding out about this on an American guitar website means this guy knows how to get attention for his other issues.

He could have just got Lindsey Lohan to do something like moon the Queen but Titanic 2 works.

Clive is a certified nutbag. He's become a bit of a TV star lately, and he has some whacky ideas that he's love the whole of Australia to pick up and run with.

I hope it's a roaring success. He could do with a few numbers in the W column, lately he's been given a hiding on many fronts.
