Favorite Character Study Songs
Let's talk about songs that are about characters - not just your typical love song about a lover, but a short story about a person. I'm thinking this mostly means made-up people, but I suppose it could be non-fiction, too.
Also, what artists do these types of songs particularly often and/or well? I have my favorite in mind, but I'll see where this goes first. See how long it takes for some one to name mine.

thank you voodoostation I LOVE Chris Knight.
I also would suggest Uncle Frank by the Drive by Truckers. Mike Cooley is one hell of a song writer, plus he plays a Teleish guitar.
