Room for a student in Los Angeles?
Hello,
Just wondering if any members of Telecaster Nation might know of a room/apartment possibility in the Westwood section of L.A. for a 22 year-old male UCLA photography student. A well-mannered, interesting young fellow he is, too...and not just because he's my son! Thanks for any thoughts on this... |

I live a little distance from there, but can suggest using a site like hotpads.com to check into apartments in the area.
If you're not familiar with the LA area, keep in mind that things are very spread out. Distances that may appear short can take a long time driving due to traffic. Expect rent prices to be a scary increase from other parts of the country. Coming from Salt Lake City, 5 years ago, rent was pretty shocking here. When apartment hunting, try to see what the area looks like at night. I'd be looking at studio apartments, in addition to roommates. |
