For inspiration: Show us your Bobber/Chopper!

I'm planning on a chopper/Bobber build (converting an older Honda/Kawie/Yamie/Suzi), and I'd love to see if anyone here ahs built a Bobber or Chopper.

I'm goin for a hard tail conversion, springer front fork, peanut tank, set-up/pan seat riding position. No gorrilla hangers, just a good comfortable bar (dont want to hang/swing like a monkey, and I dont want to hunch over like a gremlin either). Nothing too fancy: Flat black and rusty chrome.

So please, post pics of your bike, to help inspire me!

Here's a style that speaks too me:

It's not raked out too much, positioning looks nice for the rider (though I dont want to stretch for the bars so much), and she looks old school.

Of course these two examples appear to be custom made frames where the engine was shoe-horned in.

I plan on doing more modifying/chopping to the existing motorcycle frame, instead of buying a pre-fab frame. More of a DIY chopper.......

I don't see me doin some long road trips. Might go out on a day ride with some buds occassionally, but mostly just around town.

A friend brought it to me disassembled, engine and gearbox parts and pieces in cardboard boxes. He also brought some parts with him from a trip to India and asked me to assemble it. The only thing I know for sure, is that it’s a BMW frame, engine and gearbox.

. . but you live in the country that was built on "long road trips"! If i would live in California, i had a nice touring bike and ride every weekend!
Do you know http://www.pashnit.com ?

But bikes are just like guitars, there's one for every purpose.

I don't know if this qualifies because it has no engine, but I built this so I woiuld have something else to ride other than my Trex road bike. Its very comfortable and I can ride it for miles and miles
