Watched Rango, did you notice the Mosrite cameo ?

I finally got a chance to watch the animated movie Rango recently with my family. I was dig'n all the cool music in the film with the owls but there was a part where they started playing a Ventures parody and one of the little owls flashed on the screen with a Mosrite. I was impressed, someone did their homework for that part just for me and you. Did you see it?

Those owls were great. I really enjoyed that movie. There was a lot of attention to those kind of little details. The Spirit of the West was great also.

I love that movie. Seen it about 6 times now.

Did anyone else notice all the similarities to the Pirates movies? Jake the Snake is voiced by the guy that played Davey Jones and sticks that "Ah" on the end of one of his last sentances. The bugs carying Rango off like they caried the Black Pearl to water. There's more if you watch for them. Just a great movie.

First I've heard of a Mosrite. I learn something every time I visit this site.

I have been wanting to see it ever since I saw the trailer for the first time. A little later I read a raving review. Now I've got another reason to see it. Gotta watch it soon!

Btw, how is it for younger (age 3 and 5) kids?

Guran, it's perfect for the kids. Some things might be a little over their heads, but isn't that normal? No bad language, no gratuitus violence, just fun.
