RIP Forum member Eric Karonen
I was thinking it might be about time to see if some of the Toronto forum members would be up for getting together for a few beverages. Eric was one of the most active posters from around here. I'd noticed he hadn't posted in quite a while, which was pretty unusual for him. I looked it up, early Feb. was his last post. I just did a quick google and unfortunately I learned he passed away at home on Feb. 7.

I did get to meet him once, at one of the TDPRI get-togethers here in Toronto. He gave me one of the TDPRI picks like the one he used as his avatar.

Eric, RIP. I will definitely hoist a pint in your memory at the next Toronto TDPRI get-together.

We talked on the phone once ,but he wasn't at the one get together we both could attend.
We had a lot in common just lived in opposite ends of the city. Was looking forward to trading stories with him.

Oh man, this sucks. Always enjoyed his posts. Never had occasion to persdonally interact with the man, but I liked his presence here. Always a great guy, I can't ever remember him posting a cross word about anybody or anything.

I'll miss having him around. RIP Eric.

I had no idea. Eric was a really decent fellow, and any interaction I had with him was pure Class.
