Well I finally made it.

My wife has been working and living in London since October. I was supposed to move over with her from California then but a snafu with the paperwork on our cat kept me in the US. Then I was supposed to move over the first of the year, but a snafu with a cold turned into a bacterial lung infection and kept me and my cat on this side of the Atlantic. But finally, we've made it over and in one piece.

Half my guitars are in storage and the other half are currently sailing through the Panama Canal. It's gonna be a helluva NGD when we finally get reunited in a few weeks. It's already been a helluva NWD getting reunited with my wife. It's good to be one family again!

Good luck in your new home! I've only visited there for a few days but I still long for a 99 cone w/flake.

Remember to make loud, bigoted statements with a Texas accent and wave guns around, they kind of expect that.

Good for you.......I would love to live across the pond for a few years. been there 3 times and absolutely love it. being a History teacher helps appreciate the place. Nothin like looking at a cornerstone of a building and seeing 1565 or whatever date it was laid. Even the French were nice, unlike what you hear. Roman Aquaducts at Pont Du Gard.....Amsterdam canals...Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen......sheesh dont get me started ENVY!

LOLOLOLOL...Both my kids were exchange students for a year in high school and when they came home they were struck by how loud we are as a society here.....it was a great experience for them and would encourage all parents to promote foreign exchange for their highschool kids. plus you HAVE to go visit them at the end of their stay

If that's how they speak in London these days, you'd better get moving north mate.

Grats! Can always do with more Tele players in London.

Also you picked a good time, spring has just started and it's nice and bright! I'm off to Portobello to soak up the sun and crawl through a couple of pubs. One of the first things you should do is find you local and get a tab running.

Ah, a monkey-hanger, it's alright - he's not English.

I seem to remember you hang monkeys as French spies up there
- le singe est sur la potence.

How about the amps and the voltage thing. Are you going to find some Marshall and vox
amps.
