I am avoiding shops like the plague now... However, I have to get strings... and I stomped my tremolo pedal to death so I need one of those... and...

Oh.. crap...

Here comes the GAS....

Curses!

I bought a sunburst Ibanez Artcore AS73 w/hard shell case. It's a 335 style. All the hardware had been swapped for gold instead of chrome (pup's were swapped too for some gold covered Duncan Designed). It sounds great, it plays great, but.......I'm gonna sell it. It just ain't me.

I've actually sold more things in the last few weeks than I bought, but here goes!

1. New guitar body
2. traded for a Aramat modded DS-1
3. bought a Homebrew Gremania treble booster
4. received a Holy Grail as a gift
5. bought a new hand wound ( KILLER! ) humbucker

Last week = Fender CIJ black '62 Custom RI from
Ishibashi in Japan. I ordered it Sat afternoon 4/16 and
it was delivered Weds. 4/20. It has an alder body
and factory installed Tex. Spl. pickups. Nice!

Beyond that not much but did buy and assemble a
15' George Lynch cable and got an Intellitouch tuner
a few weeks prior.

Don - Jensens P10R....I have C10Qs in a Vibrolux and like
them. I'm probably in a minority but who cares. I bought
'em used for $50. One guy asked me what was in there
one time and I told him Webers.

I'm trying to keep a lid on my GAS, but I bought a Kramer Tele body on eBay a couple of weeks ago to go with a neck I've had for a while, so I had to order a bunch of stuff from WD to put it together. I also went nuts on eBay when I found a few Gerry Rafferty and Chilliwack CDs I didn't have. Plus, I'm on the prowl to replace the blown speakers in my 5150 combo.

I put a blonde Squier 51 on order. I also saw a cool Ibanez artcore in Surf Green with a Bigsby that was just too cool.

*Sigh*...yes

Not last weekend, but the weekend before I saw a Boss GS-10 on "clearance" (it was actually priced HIGHER than the Musicians Friend price, but that's another story I told elsewhere) and picked it up, since I have no effects of any kind and only do PC-based guitar work.

Totally frivolous purchase.

1974 Silverface Vibrolux update--

1- Acutronics Long Dealy 3-spring reverb tank...

WAY TOO MUCH VERB--for me.. but its a nice DEEP BLUE for SURF!

it's going back for a stock style (Vintage spec).. beside the overkill verb... it rattled loudly when i hit a 3rd fret G string.
i could not fix it after 3 R&R's I gave up... and then I lucked out and actually found the right 74' Tank and put it in..
