I'll start: CDaughtry's beautiful '55 tele:

So let's see YOUR favorites!
That's uncanny - as soon as I saw the thread title, that very guitar came into my mind. I have a blonde refin body '57 tele - and that one always reminded me of how mine should look now. A very cool guitar.

I'm still honeymooning with this one (as well as one or two other recent acquisitions...) so you people can keep all your guitars for the moment, thanks.

I like Tim Armstrong's short scale Telecaster bass. Sweet.

Call it cheating, because I've actually played the guitar itself briefly, but Octatonic's black Kinman Blueprint Series Tele has just about the nicest and most comfortable neck/fingerboard I've ever encountered. (Jim, if you ever consider selling it, please give me first refusal!)

Shepherd, good call! I'll add Napawino's CS rosewood beauty to the list (although I think he might have sold it?)

Also I'm not sure who owns it, but here is a plaintop Les Paul that Preeb posted that makes me feel funny in my pants...it's either a real '60 or a phenomenal relic, and if Preeb posted it, either scenario is equally likely!

I've seen some great cabronita types, and someone's beat to **** relic "ratrod" thing, can't remember who that was.

I've got too many myself. Besides, I'm rather partial to neck pickups.

Not only is it the best TDPRI guitar I've played, its the best guitar I've played.

Joe LaSorte ruined me by kindly flying his '53 out with him to Singapore on a business trip back ~2003.

Those I like best:

1. The surf green tele with double binding and flamed maple neck. IIRC, a Fender Custom shop product. I don't remember the owner.

2. Buckocaster's silver sparkle and bound Don Rich T-style.

3. A T-style made by Ron Kirn, it was a sunburst/smokeburst finish distinct from what Fender and others use. I believe that I saw it when someone placed it in the classifieds because they had to part with it.

Posted by Robin Nahum. Had to go back and look for it. But to be honest my favorite is my Ron Kirn and I'm a TDPRI'r.

My favorite of another TDPRI member's would have to be Buckocaster51's Emeraldcaster. I thought that thing was knock-me-out stunning! I never liked green guitars before I saw that thing.

Wow tough thread,

So many.

The AmpCaster.

That beautifully battered late 1950s LP Jnr that was on here not too long ago.

Oh and the Silvertone/Dano with the amp in its case.

Oh yeah, and Mike Eskimos old Nationals

There's many more besides

Arlo West doesn't seem to be around as much lately but this was one of his:

I just think that's a great-looking guitar.
