Um... the Hat Creek Cattle Company sign in "Lonesome Dove?" It roughly translates as "the changing vine becomes the living vine."

One of my fave Latin manglings is "Veni, vidi, Visa" – "I came, I saw, I did a little shopping." ;-) And I'm not big on bleer these daze, but I'll take a Diet Coke w/lime if you're headed to the bar... :-) CS
