Interesting gig

Last month I peformed during a civic theater's performance of "Sordid Lives," and this month I'm performing with a chamber orchestra. Can these shows get any weirder.

I'm a little nervous, because this is the most high-brow show I've ever been a associated with. It's a contemporay orchestra and the theme of the concert is Fire.

So I figure we'll play songs about burning, killing, an improvosational piece on Fire, and then end with "Ring of Fire."

Can anybody help me with some more fire songs?

Cheers,
Zorba

"Fire" by Springsteen, also covered by the Pointer Sisters.

"Burnin' For You" by Blue Oyster Cult?

Zorba, I don't have any suggestions, but you're such a great player that you should never be nervous - you'll nail it! :D

Oh wait! One just hit me - what about "Swamp Fire" ... I think that's the name of it ... by Los Straightjackets? I'm horrible with song titles, I'll have to dig out some Mr. Angel and double check that.
