Wow, here's da man. Great playing, extremely well recorded and best and most important of all not an SG player. Hey,...here's a Tele guy that sweaps'em all away. He's our best friend

For general reviews, I like PhilX and Andy at PGS. I do have to admit, though, that I like FuzzBox Girl, being (probably) the only reviewer I've found that deals specifically in my preferred sort of gear, even though she can get rather obnoxious if she talks too long...

I'm really impressed with how amazing Andy is at concealing that pick that he doesn't use, and making it sound like he's using one, only he isn't but he really is. Andy is also a part time magician where he produces picks out of thin air that he has been using on proguitarshop.com, that no one has ever been able to testify under penalty of perjury that his is using, or not. If you look very, very carefully at Andy's videos, those bare arms are actually skin colored long sleeved shirts that allow him to hide up to 300 picks in each sleeve including the third arm he keeps cleverly concealed for plucking picks that is disguised as the front of his shirt.

I like Andy from PGS, Phil X, Robert (rotren)? and the Gearmann. I think Andy and Robert do the best demonstrations but Phil and the Gearmann are entertaining. I also like Mitch Gallagher and his "Sweetwater minutes." Ha ha.

I like the Burgerman guy. he's good. nice and thorough, and lots of playing.
one thing I really can't stand is people using effects in front of amp demos and the idea that 'clean' means not using OD or gain channels. |

I was pretty impressed by this demo by Alex Hutchins...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-CU5gGE4JQ Less talk, more actual musical applications. The demo worked. I ended up buying an ME-70. Still can't make mine sound like Alex does... Maybe I'm using the wrong batteries... |
