Being skinny is probably one of the main reasons we are
still talking about them, 50 years after their arrival. Good on em'! |

THose guys work their asses off, to stay that shape. My old man plays soccer three times a week, stays active. He has the same type of build. If he sits around more during the winter, the paunch comes back. These guys get a gut when they aren't gearing up for a tour. Also, most of the images are tightly controlled. You won't see too many of em that ain't crop dusted.

The Beatles weren't ugly and made pop.
The Stones were ugly and made rock. Gimme ugly... Skinny ? Hey - as long as this thread can be turned into a "ha ha, fat Americans" thread then it's a success...

Ha, that estimate is about six inches off. I can't speak for Keith Richards, because I have never seen him up close, but many years back I was at a party with the rest of the Stones and standing next to Mick Jagger he is probably 4 inches shorter than me and I am 5'8". The rest of the guys are equally as diminutive.

All you have to do to get an approximation of their height is watch the video on you tube of angus young standing in for a tune on stage with them. He's about 5'0 and the Stones don't exactly tower over him, but 5'10? I seriously doubt any of them are 5'10", or ever were 5'10".
My guess is Mick stands about 5'6" and Keef maybe 5'8" and Ronnie maybe 5'9".. None of them weigh more than 150 LBS. |

Well, as I said this was what Google told me. I wasn't claiming it for a hard fact. :)
Maybe it's just me but I've noticed that Americans seem generally larger than Brits, in height and build (and no, that isn't a crack about obesity).

Recently, I saw a show or report in which they interviewed a fairly good looking british lass. Before she spoke, I thought to myself that she was an attractive little englander, but then she opened her mouth, and there they were in all their glory. I've seen better teeth on 350 pound lifetime smokers living in a trailer park.
